The font you use should be clear and easy to​ read .​

It should showcase your accomplishments .​
The prospective employer should be able to​ scan the​ page and get a​ good grasp on​ whether or​ not you would be good for the​ position .​

The most acceptable colors are white,​ cream,​ off white,​ and gray .​

If necessary go to​ the​ human resources department of​ a​ business that is​ similar to​ the​ one you are interested in.
